About Change for Kids
Change for Kids (CFK) believes every student deserves a complete education, and every teacher needs the proper resources to deliver it. We are dedicated to providing our partner schools with the best and most relevant programs available for their unique needs.
Each school year, CFK meets with our partner schools' leadership teams and identifies needed services and supports unavailable to students due to funding cuts or barriers to access. CFK works as the school's primary advocate and service organization to provide instruction, guidance, and activities in the following four core programming areas:
Literacy:Individual tutoring Creative writing workshops Early-childhood reading |
Fine Arts:Instrumental music instruction Hands-on visual arts workshops Trips to cultural institutions |
Healthy Living:Nutrition workshops Fitness classes and guided recess Visits to local parks |
Classroom Support:Supply wish lists Book and technology donations School clean-up and beautification |
