Corporate Volunteering
Whether your team is interested in a day of service or a recurring partnership, our employee engagement program allows corporate volunteers to make a significant difference in the lives of New York City kids. Corporate volunteering promotes a sense of community, relationship building within and across teams, and supports employee satisfaction and staff retention goals.
CFK’s opportunities are completely turn-key and customizable, and can be held:
● On-site at schools (in-person and virtually) for volunteering directly with students
● In-office hosting students for field trips (in-person and virtually)
● In-office team building activities, such as creating care packages, that benefit students
● On-site at schools, without students present, such as school beautification days
Examples of volunteer engagements include:

Employees and students participate in group activities that drive social-emotional learning and help kids gain self and social awareness. -
Enhance a school’s physical environment (mural painting, refurbishing of libraries and community areas, etc) to maximize learning and engagement. -
Students explore various careers, industries, and paths to get there through panel discussions, field trips, and interactive workshops. -
Volunteers promote the love of literacy and creative expression through reading sessions with elementary students. -
Let’s celebrate! Sponsor a holiday (or two or three) and bring the party to a classroom. A great way for employees to blow off steam--and see student smiles come to life. -
Benefit a school community from the convenience of your conference room. Employees assemble care packages such as back-to-school kits and make-your-own journals. -
Ensure students have the necessary resources to thrive. Host an office drive for winter coats, back to school items, or holiday gifts. Or check-out our general wishlist.

Your corporate volunteer point person will be given an electronic copy of CFK’s Volunteer Manual, which will serve as your guide for any general questions. You may distribute this amongst your team at your discretion. -

Yes! With advance notice and collaboration, we can customize your organization’s Annual Day of Service to be unlike any before. -
As far in advance as possible; at least one month lead time is the suggested minimum. -
Since our events are completely customizable, your event can be as small or as large as you need it to be! -
All corporate volunteering events require a suggested investment to cover staff management and facilitation; procurement and distribution of materials; and shipping costs when applicable. -
Absolutely! If your employees are interested in volunteering outside of corporate engagement opportunities, have them fill out our volunteer interest form individually, noting that they learned of CFK through their employer.
