Marissa Jones

Marissa hails from Dedham, MA, home of the first taxpayer-funded public school in America! She received her B.A. from Hampshire College, and before CFK held a wide and varied career including making wedding cakes, working in juvenile detention, and sales. Marissa believes in fostering curiosity and a lifelong love of learning, and finds joy in helping kids figure out who they are and who they want to be. Marissa lives by the Mr. Rogers quote: “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility. It’s easy to say ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond. I consider those people my heroes.”
