Kevin Ervin

Kevin knows firsthand the power of someone taking a chance on you and believing in your future. Born and raised in the Red Hook projects of Brooklyn, Kevin brings his experience as a lifelong New Yorker and a kid defying the odds stacked against him to his role of Executive Inspirer here at CFK. Kevin's past career highlights include creating, implementing, and innovating programming at a variety of youth development organizations including Vacamas Programs for Youth, Renaissance Youth Center, Satellite Academy, and NYC Department of Education. Since joining CFK as Executive Director in January 2019, Kevin has bolstered the vision and mission of the organization, and is leading the charge to create opportunities for kids so they can overcome inequity. Kevin’s favorite childhood memory is the first Christmas he received a keyboard, and for anyone who knows Kevin, he hasn’t stopped playing and singing since.
