P.S. 154, Harlem

School Story
Harlem's P.S. 154, also known as the Harriet Tubman Learning Center, is on a mission: “to educate all its students in a caring, enriching environment, and to help them become critical, literate, creative thinkers, effective communicators, independent learners, and active, responsible citizens through excellence in teaching and learning.”
Between 2000 and 2012, Change for Kids provided essential support to P.S. 154. Programs included the Story Pirates, piano instruction, and hundreds of hours of volunteer tutoring and beautification efforts. We are proud of our former piano students and hope they will continue to make beautiful music in middle school and beyond. We also hope the Dr. Seuss murals in the main hallway and the office welcome sign leave a lasting impact for years to come.
